Since May,
2006, the federal government has looked at
healthcare with the same eye towards customer
service as the mom and pop grocery store down
the street. Only in the case of the
federal government, they tied reimbursement
compensation for Medicare payments to the
'voluntary' solicitation of customer feedback
from hospitals nationwide. We just
received the results for the 4th Qtr 2007
through 3rd Qtr 2008 and we'd like to share with
you! We're proud to
say that 89% of patients that used BGH during
this time period, rated
us either a 9 or a 10, on a scale of 1-10,
with 10 being the BEST! AND, 93%
of those replying to the questionnaire said our
Doctors "always" communicated well.
91% of patients responding said that our Nurses
communicated well with them! 83% of our patients surveyed said that their
pain was 'always' well controlled; 85% said they
'always' received help as soon as they wanted.
AND....92% of our patients said they would
definitely recommend our hospital to others!
That word
"ALWAYS" is key to the results.
Check your dictionary as "always"
means just that...at all times; on all
occasions; continuously; forever.
Just like
our slogan says..."We'll Take Good Care of
You." Maybe we ought to add another
word....Always.
